I am extremely happy that the Students’ Council is bringing out the first issue of Mutation, a quarterly magazine for the students and by the students.
Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College is a premier medical institution of repute and having around 750 UG Students and more than 300 faculty members. I hope this magazine will be a medium to bring out the creative abilities of our students and will also act as a vehicle for propagation of scientific knowledge and information
I congratulate the team of students for having taken initiative and put on tremendous efforts to bring out this issue of Mutation. I wish them all the best in their future endeavours. This will give encouragement and inspiration to others to try and excel in their work.

Academics: PSBH i.e. Problem Solving for Better Health,organized its 4th Reunion with the co-ordination of PSM department, where the project work done by the students were presented. The winners will represent our college at Trivendrum at the National PSBH meet.
Congratulations to Niraj N. Shah and Abhijeet A. Munshi for securing 1st rank in 1 M.B;B.S. and III M.B;B.S. Part II resp.
Sports: In cricket, Juniors’ SMAG CUP was organized last month, in which the boys of 7th sem won under the captaincy of Rushyal Shyamraj.
Entertainment: Freshers’ party was organized on 3rd Sept '05 in which Mr. Kushal Shah and Miss Priyanka Sharma were crowned Mr. And Ms. Fresher respectively.
