| The Central Library of Smt.N.H.L.M.M.C is a world in itself. This treasure house of knowledge, a fabulous amalgamation of mind and matter, has an amazing collection of 25,040 books pertaining to all the subjects of medical science and interest, shelved systematically into different racks. The library boasts of a collection of 6,345 journals. It subscribes 95 journals annually including 75 from abroad.The library is an easy access to all the students for the latest editions of the main textbooks and reference books on each subject. The timings are 9.30AM to 7.00PM. |

| The library provides OVID- a compact disk which consists of electronic presentation of all the journals from the year 1966 to 2002. The collection includes - American Journal of Medicine, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Surgery; British Medical Journal; Journals on Pediatrics; and a number of journals on varied subjects such as Fertility and Sterility, Stroke, Diabetes, Hypertension, etc. The students can access this CD in the library any time free of cost. |

| The library provides MEDLINE DATABASE which guides about the sources of information about some selected topics, say leptospirosis or dengue etc.
The library owns a collection of microfilms (eg. pathology slides) which can be projected with a microfilm reader. |

| Being a member of The British Library, Law Garden, it issues forms and cards to the students for the same. |

| It is being planned to set up a centrally air-conditioned library along with a computer lab. The annual budget of our library is Rs.36 Lakhs. |
