REGISTRATION : Participants are request to fill up the form ‘A’ annexed herewith and send the same to us, along with a Demand Draft of requisite amount for registering as a Delegate. The Demand Draft should be made payable to a bank in Ahmedabad. Out station Drafts/or Cheques should include necessary bank commission. Please fill in the Payments Details in Form ‘B’, and send the same as well.

All payments should be made through Nationalised Bank only. Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “51st NATCON ASI 2003” and crossed “A/c Payee Only” Please write your name and Address on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

All the Life Members and Ordinary Members and Post Graduate Students of Anatomy are eligible to register as Delegates.

CANCELLATION & REFUND: No refund request will be entertained after 25th October 2003. On cancellation of registration, 50% of amount shall be refunded after the conference.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS: Travel arrangements will need to be made by the applicants themselves only. Organising committee can be contacted in case any help is required regarding reservation for return journey travel arrangements. Local sight seeing within and around Ahmedabad will be arranged by Organising Committee.

ACCOMMODATION: The organizing committee is trying utmost to provide suitable accommodation according to the needs of the delegates.
Please fill up the details for the type of accommodation you with to book for yourself in attached Form C. A. list of different categories of hotels along with tariff is attached with the announcement, Please write about your accommodation needs before 30th Sept. 2003 along with a draft of Rs. 500/- advance to help us reserve suitable accommodation for yourself.

The above tariff is only tentative and subject to the rules of the respective hotel management. No meals and beverages are included in tariff. The tariff does not include taxes. The choice of the hotel will be met as far as possible.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS & POSTERS
Abstracts are invited from registered delegates only for presentation in various scientific sessions of the 51st National Conference of ASI. Last date for submission of abstract is 21st September 2003.

INSTRUCTIONS :

  1. Abstracts should be typed on electronic typewriter / computer in single space as they will be directly produced in abstract booklet. The entire abstracts including the title, name of author(s) & institution(s) must fit within space of 4.5” x 7.5”. Last date for submission of abstract is 21st September 2003. Send original and three Xerox copies of the abstracts.
  2. The title should be types leaving 10 spaces from the left margin and the first letter of each word of the Title should be in Bold and Capital.
  3. The Title and author’s name(s) should be in block letters and the name of presenting author should be underlined.
  4. There should be complete mailing address of the author presenting the paper along with the mention of Department, Institution and Place of work.
  5. Abstract should not exceed 250 words.
  6. Abstract should be confirmed only to and should be with only accepted aim of study, material methods result and conclusions.
  7. Time allowed for presentation will be 7 minutes only and 3 minutes for discussion. Audio – Visual aids like slide – projector and overhead projector will be provided at the venue. If you require any special visual aid please inform well in advance.

FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

  • Prior registration is mandatory for acceptance of paper.
  • Material should be arranged in sequence with number and should be mounted in an area 3’ x 4’ (horizontal). Poster should be fixed at least 1 hour before the poster session.
  • Place a passport size photograph of the author (at the right hand top corner) so that delegates will know to whom to address their questions.
  • The author should be present throughout the poster session..
